New York Cabs

It was our second day in New York City. It was many years before I bought my first pedometer, but I must have reached some kind of record that day. At least a personal best. We walked, walked and then walked some more. No wonder I found the sight of all those cabs so appealing…

Colorful Couple

It was a hot day in the middle of the summer. Me and a friend of mine were on a photowalk in Stockholm. It felt like we went all over town that day. At least we walked over 20 000 steps that day. At one point we saw this colorful couple. They looked so cool, so we just had to take their picture in the shade of an alley.

Uddevalla Bridge

This is a shot from the west coast of Sweden. We went for a late afternoon walk along the water. It was a warm spring day and the water was almost still. As usual, I was stopping every few meters to take some pictures. In the middle of this one you can see the famous Uddevalla Bridge.

A Cup of Tea with a View

During a day trip to Mdina we visited Fontanella Tea Garden. The lunch was great and the view… Well, I think it was rather nice too.

In the Middle of Green

This is actually the first photo I decided to print on canvas. I went with my wife to the neighboring town. While she attended a meeting of some kind, me and my son went for a walk in the late spring sun. (I was doing most of the walking since he was in the stroller.) Close to a playground I found this aspen tree with low branches and lovely colored leaves.

Sunset in Franconia

This is the Franconian countryside more than a decade ago. I was visiting an old friend there and we went out for a walk enjoying the scenery. This was before I bought my first DSLR, but I’m quite satisfied with my capture of the evening sun anyway.

Memories of ice…

When I look at this photo, I can almost still feel the cold. This is what the lake Sommen looks like during our Swedish winter. I’m not sure that we dared to cross the lake that day…

Sometimes an island…

On our visit to Nai Yang we went for a stroll along the beach. At the end of the beach we found this tropical island. Actually, it’s not always an island; only during high tide. During low tide, you can reach it without getting your feet wet.

Morning Dew

It was a fresh autumn morning and time for some mushroom hunting. Well… at least my wife and son went looking for the gold of the forest. And me? I spent the morning crawling around in the wet grass with my camera.

Morning Glow

I woke up early (around 4 a.m.) and saw a strange light. Well, maybe it wasn’t really that strange. It was just the sun waking up. But it sure gave the morning sky a wonderful glow!
