We always stay in the same hotel when we visit Uddevalla. And with this view, who can blame us. This panorama is shot from our balcony. From there you can see all the way from Uddevalla Bridge to the harbor.

We only stayed in Khao Lak for a couple of days. Yet we visited this beach several times. It’s called Coconut Beach and if I had turned the camera the other way, we would have seen all the palm trees lining the beach. This, however, is another tree, but I cannot determine what kind.

One of the evenings in Khao Lak we had dinner at this place right next to the beach. It was a bit cloudy that day, but we could enjoy the sunset anyway.

I was on a business trip to Copenhagen in May. It was a very rewarding trip, but two rather gray days weather wise. Luckily I had some time to spare the second day, so I was able to explore the Danish capital a bit. This is a panorama of the popular area Nyhavn which is quite famous for its colorful houses.

I often mention my love for sunsets. Most of my sunset pictures seem to be captured by the water, watching the sun pass the horizon. This is one is clearly no exception. One thing that strikes me in particular with this evening is the multitude of colors. From grey to blue and purple, further on to magenta, red and orange. I love it! :)

This was the start signal of the fire show we were lucky to enjoy on Koh Lanta. Even though I was sitting about 10 meters away from these guys, I could really feel the heat from that fire blast. That was quite cool! (Cool, not cold. :)

I’m not sure why, but I have a soft spot for bokeh pictures. Maybe it’s the soft light or, in this case, the many colors that are reflected in the water. I think this photo is from a photowalk I did in Stockholm, but I’m actually not quite sure.

I’ve said it many times before; Langkawi has beautiful sunsets. This evening was not an exception and, as usual, we took an evening stroll along the beach. This Instagram friendly promenade is lined with photogenic palm trees, which make nice silhouettes in the setting sun.

I was experimenting a bit with a photo I took one night on Tenerife. I was going for some kind of artistic effect to make the picture more alive. It was pretty fun doing it, so I think I’ll do it again…

It was too early in the season, so the boats were still out of the water. But the water was quite calm, the sky blue and the air had that spring freshness. Sometimes I ask myself why I live up here in the cold of the north. I guess this picture is one of the answers.
