I was on a business trip to Gothenburg in the end of summer. After a long day at work I felt like taking a walk in the city. I found this hill with a nice view of the city. It was quite sunny but also rather windy, so I spent an hour or so watching the clouds crossing the sky.

We spent a few days in the family cottage. One of the evenings the sky was pretty nice so I figured I’d go out to take some sunset shots. I was not alone on the mountain though. It was me and about 2 billion mosquitoes…

One early October morning I set out to capture the morning sun over the river. I did capture the stilless of the water in the morning light as planned. But I also turned around and captured the speeding cars in the light of dawn.

The tide was pretty evident on Coconut Beach and during low tide it was quite far to the water from the sunbeds. If my memory serves me right, the sand was a bit more white than it seems in this picture. But the sky was as blue and the water as turquoise.

These guys were quite common where we stayed on Koh Lanta. This fellow is sitting on top of a car in the shade of a big tree. In my eyes, it looks like it is deeply sunk in thought.

During our backpacking trip we stayed a few nights in Ao Nang. We stayed in a small little hotel (The Ri) a kilometer or two from the beach. Instead of watching the sun go down in the sea in the evenings, we could see this mosque shift in different colors in the dark. Needless to say, I tried to capture most of the color combinations with my camera…

This is another picture from Coconut Beach in Khao Lak. The beach is lined with palm trees, the sand is soft, the water is warm and the swing is free. Some very good reasons for a visit. It’s a bit far away though…

It’s official! It’s here! The season of yellow. I like the bright colors and the crisp air. I don’t like the rain and a runny nose though.

Quite a few of my photos from Thailand are of sunsets or long-tail boats. Some of them are of long-tail boats in the sunset. This one is from Nai Yang Beach. It used to be one of our favorite places in Thailand. But Nai Yang has changed the last few years and is not the same anymore. The sunsets are still rather nice though.

How many people can you fit on a scooter before it’s too crowded?

I guess that depends on the scooter… and the people too I suppose.
