The Stone Lake

After hiking for a few hours (with lots of stops for snacks and photos), we finally arrived at The Stone Lake. We were a bit tired and hesitated a few times on the way, but it was worth it when we saw this spectacular view.

Going somewhere?

Commuting is sometimes like a reflection of life. Sometimes it’s tedious and slow. Sometimes it goes so fast that you cannot keep up. It has its ups and its downs. Sometimes it’s colorful and sometimes just in different shades of gray…

Sunset silhouette in Stockholm

We were starting to reach the end of a day of photowalking in the capital. It had been a hot summer day with lots of photos. When walking home in the warm summer evening, we came upon this colorful view.

Cloud Island

Here’s another photo of that small island off Nai Yang Beach. I thought it looked cool when the clouds started to build above (and beyond) the island.

Winter White

Winter light, winter bright, winter white. Ok, I’m not much of a poet. This is how I prefer winter though; white and bright. A few degrees below zero and a few decimeters of snow.

From the bus

This photo is taken with my old iPhone 6 through a bus window. The resolution is nothing to cheer for, but thanks to the bright spring sun and the calm water I think it turned out pretty nice anyway.

Desert meets ocean

It was early morning and the rest of the family was sleeping (as usual…). Being a creature of habit, I took my camera and went out for a morning walk. This time to the sand dunes in the desert. Despite the clouds, the colors of the morning sky were still quite nice.

Same but different

I like zebras! They are so photogenic. For some reason, I prefer their photos in black and white. I can’t imagine why… :)

Morning by the river

Sometimes I set my alarm clock even on the weekend. Just to get up early and get some photos of the morning sky. This picture however, I think was captured before work. An early morning by the river.

Late night in BlueBay

I don’t know how many photos I’ve taken on this beach, but it’s quite a few. The scenario is usually something like this: I am up in the house and see the colorful evening sky. I hurry to find my camera and run the few hundred meters down to the lake. Then, I only have a minute or two before the sun has gone too far down and the colors are gone. Sometimes those minutes are enough…
