Blue morning

It was the beginning of a long work day. I arrived a bit early and took a stroll down to the lake. The day turned out to be quite hectic and intense, but what a morning it was. It helped me through the day.

Aging dandelion

White and round like a snowball, but fragile in the wind and soft to the touch. Crouching, I took this photo on the meadow next to our garden a hot summer day. It was a nice day…

Glowing Trees

I used to experiment more with photo editing apps on my phone than I do now. This picture is one of the more extreme results. Some autumn trees made a bit more glowing.

Valletta under the clouds

I’ve only been to Malta once, but I sure want to go there again. We had quite changing weather during our short visit and this was one of the nicer days. A warm spring sun, a few clouds and a lovely color in the sky presenting Valletta at its best.

Kissamos sunset

This is my favorite village in Greece. Kissamos. I’ve been here a few times, but not many enough. It’s been a few years since my last visit, so I think I need to plan a trip soon again. I so like walking along the waterfront, enjoying the warm evening breeze and watching the sun go down behind those mountains.

The Fallen

Nature is beautiful with all its colors. For this photo, however, I chose a sepia tone. I find that doing so, sometimes makes it easier to see the contrasts and shapes better.

Neighbors by the water

It’s a bit strange really, that I’ve only visited Tuscany and Florence once. It’s a very tourist crowded city, which might be one of the reasons. But it is also a quite enjoyable city. I think I need to plan for a visit soon again.

The BBQ Chef

During the Hanami festivities we enjoyed many different kinds of Japanese street food. This BBQ chef let me take his picture. Well, I didn’t actually ask his permission, but he didn’t seem to mind…

Cameron Valley Tea

During our roundtrip in Malaysia, we visited Cameron Highlands. This area is famous for its lush green landscape and its tea growing. Here is a panorama from the hills of Cameron Valley Tea. (Be sure to view it on a big screen…)

Among the pines

It was another hot day in Medulin, Croatia. This afternoon we decided to take the scenic route around the campsite on the little peninsula. It was quite nice to hide from the roasting sun for a few moments.
