Remember the fallen

Autumn by the river

In October when some of the trees have started to shift colors and some still struggle to remain green, this view can be seen by the river. I find it quite restful to snap a few photos and enjoy watching the leaves sailing past in the water.

Yellow tops

This photo is from a little autumn walk with the family. The sky was clear and blue and the trees were really vibrant yellow and orange. A very nice autumn day!

Color shifts

This is a shot from Koh Lanta where we enjoyed the sunset every evening on the beach. The sky shifted in many lovely pastel colors and I don’t think I can ever get tired of watching this show of nature.

Colorful Pines

After having been enjoying the blue and golden hour and watching the sun rise above the horizon, I turned around to capture this scene. The pines were lit by the early morning sun and got a bit extra colorful thanks to the 590nm filter on my full-spectrum converted Sony a6000.

Morning view from the office

This used to be the view I had early mornings at the office. That was before we moved to other premises. Nowadays I just see a brick wall when I look through my window…

Colorful chopsticks

It was very hot and humid when we visited Chinatown in Singapore. But it was worth a visit. On a sidestreet we found this little shop, among other things. It was quite colorful and when our kids saw the vibrant chopsticks right there in the middle we just had to take a step inside. :)

Morning colors

The mornings on Langkawi were quite colorful as well. This panorama is made from a few photos that I took an early morning from our balcony. A rather nice way to start the day.

Another fairytale forest

One of the benefits of living on the outskirts of the city is the proximity to nature. The forest can be a magic place to explore and it is a luxury to have it right outside the door.

I took this photo many years ago with my iPhone 4. If i remember correctly it’s edited in TangledFX.

Those jaws…

I don’t know how you feel, but those jaws looks terrifying to me. There’s something ancient and prehistoric about these huge reptiles that keeps me fascinated. I wouldn’t want to brush its teeth though…
