Swing reflection

It was a rather chilly summer evening. A soft breeze was passing over the lake. Even though the wind rippled the water a bit, it turned out to be a fairly okay reflection.

Morning in Sliema

A few years ago we went on an extended weekend trip to Malta. Back home in Sweden it was still rather cold, but in Malta spring was already on its way. We were lucky to have a quite nice view from our balcony, so I could enjoy the colorful morning sky.

Langkawi from above

Though I’m not really a big fan of heights, the ride with the Langkawi SkyCab was worth it. The view from the top was really cool. There was a bit of haze in the air, but we could still see quite far. I wish I had a drone to capture more of this green island from above.

Plenty of fish in the sea

There are plenty of fish in the sea. This isn’t the sea, however. This is Aquaria KLCC. At least I think it is…

I’m not really sure why, but I rather like this photo. I haven’t noticed until recently though, that there’s a fish that doesn’t follow the stream. Hm, how could I have missed that..?

Crowded

To me it seems a bit crowded, but I guess it’s all right. I wouldn’t wanna be one of the guys on the back row though…

Waiting and waiting…

Traveling with me often means waiting for me to come back from a photo walk, waiting for me to catch up (because I’ve stopped somewhere to take a photo or three) or wake up to realize that I’m out trying to catch the morning sun in the frame. This time I was hanging on the beach to watch the sun set in the sea.

Blue Eyes

I think the Transformers movies can be quite entertaining when you are in the right mood. I don’t know which of the transformers this one is though. We saw this fellow on Universal Studios in Singapore. It’s hard to tell from this picture, but even though he (at least I think it is a he) is kneeling, he reaches at least two meters above the ground.

Close encounter

I have no idea what the name of this butterfly is. But I think it’s beautiful with that pattern and those different shades of blue. I took this picture during our backpacking trip in Malaysia.

Spring sunset in Ängelholm

When on business trips, I usually bring my camera and hope for opportunities for a photo walk or two. This time, the trip brought me to Ängelholm and I got the chance to enjoy the sunset at this nice stone pier.

Christmas lights

Behind Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur, there is a park where these fountains can be seen. Around Christmas, there is also a big, really big, Christmas Tree there as well. In the evenings there was a light and music show, which we enjoyed from the other side of the water.
